MOLLY MCLELLAN

We are delighted to announce that Molly McLellan will be reading from her short story 'Field'.

Molly McLellan is a research nut to say the least. It never seems to fail that her fiction always ends up leading her down the endless rabbit hole of sources, upon sources, upon sources. She has a master’s degree from Oxford University in Creative Writing and a BFA in Creative Writing from University of Victoria, Canada. Molly also lived in Sanaa, Yemen for two years and travelled through Egypt, Maldives, Bali, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand, Singapore and Paris. Her travels influence her love of other cultures and especially their history, a recurring theme in her short fiction.

Molly is currently taking part in the National Novel Writing Month (November 2019). For the past two years she has completed her goal of creating rough drafts of the first two novels of a trilogy. If she completes her goal this year of 80,000 words, she will have completed each rough draft of the trilogy within one month.

When Molly is not writing or out adventuring with her beloved dog Jack, she spends her days working at Pynelogs, a local art gallery and cultural center in Invermere, BC, Canada.
