Lydia Luke Interview - Cyber Smut

Today I interviewed Lydia Luke - poet, storyteller and author of 'copper & lead'. She's a sensitive and sensual writer with some interesting experimental work. And a huge Toni Morrison fan, who I adore! Really enjoyed this interview, hope you do too. ~ Julianne

Here are the interview questions:

1. You have a degree in Black British Writing from Goldsmiths, UoL. What was the most interesting, surprising or exciting work that you read on that course?

2. Tell us how that impacted your poetry/writing?

3. What are you currently reading?

4. Tell us about your work at Prism Writers.

5. Tell us about ‘copper & lead’ — what inspired this story?

6. Do you consider yourself more of a poet or a prose writer?

7. In terms of genre, how would you define ‘copper & lead’?

8. Can you describe yourself in 3 words?
