Book Marketing

Our Book Marketing Service is designed to get you up-and-running quickly on social media to promote your book & build your author brand. I am hands-on and will create posts for you, then teach you how to take over. Ideal for beginners. I work with two platforms: Facebook and Twitter. There are two services, and the option to add a Virtual Book Launch. First consultation is free.

  1. 2-week Social Media Marketing - £250

  2. 4-week Social Media Marketing - £450

  3. Add Virtual Book Launch - £100

How It Works

  • Book your free consultation.

  • In your 20 minute consultation, we'll discuss themes in your book, potential audience, publicity angles and social media ideas. Feel free to send a synopsis. I also offer advice on reviews and getting your website into shape.

  • When you're ready to book, just send an email to let me know and I'll send an invoice.

  • After payment has been received, I'll start by creating or updating your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

  • Your Facebook page will be professionally branded, targeting your readers, with links to book retailers and your author website.

  • Your Twitter account will be professionally branded, creating an interaction with potential followers and readers. Links to book retailers and your author website.

  • Advice and training on Facebook and Twitter. I create posts from the start of the campaign and talk you through the steps. Over the course of the campaign, you'll be encouraged to begin creating your own posts alongside mine, gradually taking over.

  • Virtual Book Launch - I'll create a timeline and talk you through the steps of promotion. Ideal for Facebook.

  • Social media activity increatses brand awareness and sales. By the end of the service you will have a solid online platform and an understanding of how to make the most of your presence.

"Before I published Strange Creations I had no idea how to use hashtags on Twitter. Now I feel much more comfortable using them - it's so easy! And I have a number of new followers who are interested in my book."

— Gerry Marsh, London writer, author of Strange Creations and Tales of Urban Encounters.

About me

My name is Julianne Ingles. I'm the editor and founder of Guts Publishing. My background includes an MA in Creative Writing and an MA in Modern Literature, both from Goldsmiths, UoL. I have over 15 years of experience as a tutor - in creative writing, academic writing, and English as a second language. I've also been a painter for over 20 years, and I have a sharp eye for visuals. Engaging your potential readers on social media has a lot to do with the images you choose. Together we'll assess the images you already have, how to improve them, and how to source new images. I'm fairly experienced with Photoshop and happy to polish up your images.
